Just like a wooden sculpture.

After a fair amount of research I was finally able to go into the forest today in search of the oh so little but cute tawny owl. After being disappointed at two of the places i found succes at spot three. At first I walked completely past the owl, I just couldn’t see him sitting there. I had walked along a whole row of trees searching for its sleeping spot but couldn’t find him.
 

With a tripod like Robin Hood in sherwood forest :).

Disappointed i walked back to the car until I walked along a number of old trees and determined as I am i kept looking up in the trees for its gold brown plumage. And yes, in the middle of a set of large old trees i found it resting i a tree with a torn branch.

I toke my time, enjoying, watching and photographing the owl from all angels i could…. I’m Happy!
